Vintage Bottle Corkers
Corks were an early innovation to sealing a bottle of wine. We know how difficult they can be to get out, but how about putting a cork into a bottle? Many different mechanical machines and devices have been used since the late 18th century. Some are simple handheld corkers while others are quite sophisticated and geared for large production. The corkers in this collection show a variety and are in the time frame of the 1870’s until Prohibition.
